Take Some Time to Honor Yourself this Labor Day
“Luck to me is something else: Hard work – and realizing what is opportunity and what is not,” said the late actress and comedian Lucille Ball. During our time together, we have come to know you as someone who has taken the opportunity to put in the hard work to reach your financial freedom.
Labor Day is an annual celebration to recognize the social and economic achievements of American workers. The first Labor Day was celebrated in September of 1882 in New York City and in 1894 President Grover Cleveland signed a law making the first Monday in September a national holiday.
We hope this Labor Day you take some time honor yourself and the contributions that you’ve made to make this world a better place for your company, your family and yourself.
But we also hope you make some time for celebrations to make the most of the last few days of summer. Here are some ways you can celebrate:3
Relax with a good book and enjoy some down time
Attend your community’s local Labor Day parade
Take a road trip to a new town or a National Park you’ve never been to before
Plan a family BBQ
Whatever you choose to do, we wish you an enjoyable and restful Labor Day!
Enjoy the holiday weekend and celebrate all you’ve accomplished,
