Celebrating the gift of Easter

"For I remember it is Easter morn, and life and love and peace are all new born,” said educator Alice Freeman Palmer.

We celebrate Easter in the spring when the weather is starting to warm up, the flowers are starting to bloom and we feel uplifted. Easter is “a time of hope, of new life and of new beginnings,” said the late Bishop Paul J. Swain.

This new beginning gives us an opportunity for renewal.

“The season of Easter gives us all the opportunity each year to renew our commitment whatever our spiritual journey has been,” Bishop Swain also wrote.

This Easter, we hope you celebrate renewal and new beginnings.
